Whitney Bennett
B.A., M.A., LCAC, CCTP, Co-Owner/Director​
​
Whitney has her Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Southern Indiana, and a Master of Arts in Addiction Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has been with New Visions Counseling since 2013.
​
Whitney utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing and enjoys integrating workshops and training modules into her group therapy sessions to create a richer, more interactive learning experience.
​
Whitney works with clients and covers a wide variety of topics to help them regain a healthy life balance.
Being a wife and a mother of two children, Whitney has a heart for helping restore the family unit, for giving hope to parents who struggle with addiction.

Aly Griggs
MSW, LCSW, CCTP, EMDR Practitioner, Co-Owner

Aly received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana. She currently sits on the University of Southern Indiana's social work advisory board. She has been with New Visions Counseling since 2018.
​
She is a licensed clinical social worker and has experience working in home-based services, residential facilities, homeless shelters, medication-assisted treatment, and outpatient substance abuse treatment.

Aly has a passion for helping people reach their goals and instilling hope in others using several different styles of intervention ranging from psycho-education to cognitive restructuring and reframing.
​
Aly utilizes CBT, MI, Rogerian therapy, ACT, DBT, strengths-based, and solution-focused therapeutic models. Aly also uses Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).

Heather Riley
MSW, LCSW

Heather received her Bachelor of Science degree from Murray State University and her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville. She has been with New Visions Counseling since 2023.
Heather is a licensed social worker with experience working with families, individuals, and the LGBTQ+ community. She is trained in cognitive processing therapy, a trauma therapy approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs to treat PTSD.
Heather is a Rogerian therapist who believes her clients are the experts in their own lives, and that clients are capable of creating positive changes in themselves through self-actualization. Her therapeutic role is to create a space conducive to change, one that is empathetic and collaborative with the client.
